What are IPNB and Attachment Theory?

Interpersonal neurobiology studies how the brain and nervous system are shaped by social interactions. Attachment theory is a psychological framework that explains how early experiences with caregivers shape our ability to form and maintain relationships throughout our lives. Both fields are concerned with understanding how our relationships with others impact our development and well-being.

Do I need to be a member to attend an event?

No. As an inclusive organization, we welcome anyone to attend. The membership provides discounted tickets to events, among other perks.

Do I have to be a therapist to attend a training/event?

No, all are welcome, though having some background in mental health education is helpful in understanding the content we cover.
